In their final tournament of the season, 12u Benbow finished as runner ups in the All American Slugfest at NYB Field of Dreams. They closed down NYB in back to back weekends after capturing the NYB Field of Dreams Frenzy Gold Bracket championship just a week ago. Like last week, the offense made an impact. Ben Hammond (.556 avg and 3 RBIs), Myles Holman (.600 avg and a HR), Mason Burzynski (.500 avg and 2 stolen bases), Tyler Johnson (.500 avg, 3 runs scored, and 5 stolen bases), and Gabe Dugan (.429 avg and 5 stolen bases) created the spark needed at the plate. 12u Benbow ended their successful season with 21 wins.

Another team that found success this weekend was 12u DeMann. The Orange added two more wins to the season that is winding down. Offense played a major factor in their wins this past weekend. The attack was led by: Brian DeMann (6 hits, .667 avg, and 5 runs scored), Jared Galema (.500 avg, 3 runs scored, and 4 RBIs), Nolan Evers (.429 avg and 5 runs scored), Bo Surface (.429 avg and 3 RBIs), Gavin Cox (.444 avg and 3 runs scored), Jackson Peterson (.571 avg and 5 RBIs), and Ethan Wood (.800 avg after going 4-5). The Orange pitching was not too shabby either from the group: Gavin Cox, Nolan Evers, Sam Deno, and Ethan Wood who combined for 10 innings pitched, 1 earned run, and 10 strikeouts.

10u Imes had another productive weekend adding two more wins, bringing their season to a .500 record. The Orange defeated the Indiana Generals and the Indiana Bears due to spectacular play from many contributors. At the plate, this group lead the way: Owen Ingalls (.500 avg, 6 runs scored, and 4 RBIs), Levi Chandler (.556 avg, 4 runs scored, and 4 RBIs), Graham Imes (.571 avg, 5 runs scored, and 3 RBIs), Cohen Boyd (.556 avg and 5 runs scored), Roman Gralak (6 hits, .667 avg, and 5 runs scored), and Noah Melvin (.400 avg and 4 runs scored). As a team, the Orange tallied 37 total hits this weekend.

Our Team Prayer

"Dear Heavenly Father, we are so blessed to have the opportunity to play this wonderful game called baseball. We ask your blessings upon us today and that as we play and compete at our highest abilities we pray that you help each of us act in a way that is pleasing to You and that is also respectful and honorable to our opponents, to our coaches, to our parents and to the umpires. In Jesus Name we pray, amen."
